im back
So glad to see you, max. The last time I threw out my 'last' beer, it turned out to really be for the final time. Who knew? Apparently I hadn't been ready before - even though I was disgusted with myself too. There's no doubt you can do this and stay quit. We're with you.

Morning, Max, welcome back and happy birthday! A grandchild has been a factor for me, too. I decided I wasn't going to be drunk grandma who couldn't be trusted to watch the child. I had ten years between my children being grown and a baby in the family. Our parents gone. Nothing to keep us tethered. Glad you're back.
Bernie, yes, my grandkids mean everything to me. I want to be around for a long time, to see them grow up. We cant replace lost time, and I want them to know the real me. And make good memories for them . Continuing to drink would take all that from me, ive already lost too much time to that. Im so lucky to have them.
