I just wrote a novel going on about how sorry I am feeling for myself, then I erased it. Today I'm sad, but it will pass.

I'm grateful for day 9 completely sober.

I get sad sometimes too. Seems we get sober and our emotions come back.
Things will get better, and congratulations on 9 days.

Congrats . Each and every day will get better. I'm right there with you , day 10 .. I have my up days and down days but atleast Im not drinking. Step number one

I have found it best to not gloss over the feelings that are coming up along your sober journey but to rather reflect on where they are coming from and if changes are needed. It can be hard to have feelings in early sobriety.....but I found I learned to appreciate finally having them!

Nine days is great

Sad is ok - we can't selectively feel only happy and if we were happy all of the time, I don't think we would value it so highly.
