Hello... I'm new here.
I had an addiction to cocaine, but was able to stop in April of this year. Sometimes I think I'm doing alright, but I still constantly feel tempted to go back to it and have a hard time dealing with the stress and anxiety.
I just need someone to talk to at times... maybe someone that could understand and help. Online seems the best place for me, because I wouldn't really be able to talk to people in person, as it's a hard thing for me to bring up.

You've come to the right place for sharing and advice. Unfortunately, I have no experience of your situation, so I am of no help on that score. I just wanted to say Hi and let you know that you are not alone.

My name's Sandy and I'm an alcoholic for over 15 years. Been sober a month now. Welcome to SR. This really is a good place if you just want to lay back and throw all of your thoughts online. Everyone has different addictions and different methods for getting through the day, but we all want serenity in our lives and to remain clean and sober. This is a good place to post when those irrational urges are nagging at you. It sounds like you are already well on your way to recovery. Hope to hear from you soon.
