Day 3 and loving it!

Here I am, on day 3! I'm still having some sleep issues, but it's already better. I was able to take an exam for school and feel somewhat clear headed and knew that I rocked it. So instead of celebrating it with a drink, I'm going to celebrate with a subway sandwich and pumpkin spice latte!

The only thing I wish would go away is my insane reflux. But it's easing every day

I am very glad I found SR! All of you are so supportive and help so much. It sometimes seems like no one understands, which is possibly why I could never successfully make it passed the first day or two on other attempts. But having the support and encouragement is definitely helping me feel like I can do this!

You CAN do it. Just take it one day at a time. Congratulations on day three!

Good job Ovrslov! The first few weeks are the toughest since you're trying to battle habit as well as addiction & cravings. Stick with it, and you'll have a month, a year, more, behind you. You will never wake up regretting staying sober the night before....

Congrats on day 3. You're doing great. I've heard that taking a probiotic supplement can help with the stomach, digestive issues.

Nice job. Acid reflux sometimes get worse with drinking or could even be caused by drinking. Your body needs time to heal. It will probably get better. BUt if you havent visited your doc about it might be a decent idea. Might just say eat more tums, or eat more calcium (excluding milk)...

Congratulations and keep at it! It gets better every day and once you start sleeping normally again, you will wonder how you ever lived with the crazy sleep habit that drinking brings.
