It's ok, changingman. Crying means you care. Crying means you haven't given up.

We reach our rock bottom when we stop digging. So, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get on with what needs to be done.

Just don't give up. Don't stop trying.

It's hard to take that first step, but you're not alone.

I recommend you check out the September support thread (or the imminent October one)

Support really helps.

There are numbers you can call and links to check out too.

The National Alcohol Helpline-UK - Tel: 0800 917 8282
Offers help to callers worried about their own drinking; support to the family and friends of people who are drinking; advice to callers on where to go for help.

UK National AA Helpline
08457 697 555

Drinkline

Drinkline runs a free, confidential helpline for people who are concerned about their drinking, or someone else's.

Helpline: 0300 123 1110

https://www.alcoholconcern.org.uk/help-and-advice/

UK SMART Recovery

Alcoholics Anonymous (Great Britain) Ltd - Home

LifeRing UK - LifeRing

Addaction | Drugs & Alcohol Addiction and Recovery: Support - Help - Advice - Treatment

Help and advice - Alcohol Concern

There's no magic to quitting changingman - take the effort you put into drinking everyday and put it into not drinking instead

you can do this
