Surf through it. It will pass. Do something to get your mind thinking about something else. It's death gripping I know..you can do this. I also detoxed and worked.

Hang in there.....I've sat at work during withdrawal, and it's awful-so I can totally relate!

Wishing you all the best.....the anxiety and chest pain will dissipate, but please visit the ER if you have to.

Any chance of some fresh air, I used to go out to the stairwell in the building which was cooler at work just to clear my head for a few minutes and then go back, I did that multiple times throughout the day for a few weeks!!

Hang in there Charliee!! You can do this!!

If you can't relax ask for help. Your health is the most important thing right now.

Just think how good tomorrow will be if you don't drink tonight.

I'm sorry, Charliee. Sometimes we need further proof that we don't need it in our lives. It's never going to bring us anything but misery. I hope you feel better tomorrow.

I agree with Scott Charliee.

Maybe asking for help is the best way to forcibly break this cycle?

If you don't drink, you won't ever have to feel that again!

You can do this!!! Stay stopped, you are worth it!!

Made it through the night, ugh. That was the worst day ever. Today my chest still hurts and I'm shaky. I start outpatient on Monday, God I hope it works this time. Of course I'm home alone again

Hi Charlie - You are doing it. Hang in there. Stay really close to SR Charlie. Post whenever a craving or urge strikes. Reading through the forum will give you strength. As the others have said, "you will never have to go through this again.".
