I need good thoughts and prayers

Well, I've survived it. My baby didn't. I held him in my arms before they took him... and was thinking about my own mother. She had many of the same experiences before she gave birth to me at 40 yo, after surgeries. It has to do with the cervix open to early, apparently that was my problem also, combined with the baby's apparent Congenital Heart Failure. It's crazy I did not find out that I had the same anatomical problem as my mom, before having the same experience as she had. The docs are asking us if we want to try again, it's apparently a very minor surgery on me.

Dear Aellyce, I'm sorry for your loss and wish you and your husband time & help to grieve and console one another. In the future, many things are possible. My mother had two late term miscarriages at 5 months, and then went on to have me.
