Just starting the journey to sobriety. Strange using such words ie sobriety, alcoholic. Struggling with the labels

When I got sober I didn't know what I'd do with my time if I wasn't drinking. Turns out I can do anything I want, and do it better too. :)

Don't worry about the labels. I don't like labels either. But, if alcohol is causing problems in your life, you're in the right place.

I am an alcoholic; as long as I am a non-drinking alcoholic/alcoholic in recovery, I am okay with the label/term.
