I am also a member of that club....
Then I became a member of the "Dear Vodka, I'm leaving you..." Club.
And then the "Vodka? Who cares. I don't even give it a thought" club.
And the "Life is so good.... who could ever need Vodka" club.

It did not make you anything. You (as I) made a conscious decision to drink it(until it was probably unconscious) and it is within you to not drink it. After some clean time you'll wonder what the attraction was.

Gina..is me..Im trying to secretly overcome my addiction to alcohol. I literally read posts on this site all day, even during my working hours, to hope not to drink tonight. It didnt work. I got the kid in bed, laundry done, check. Drink time. What? Who am i anymore??

Tomorrow is a new day Gina, we have all been where you are. Many of us, myself included aren't far removed from those days. There are lots of great people on SR to help you through this through their experience.

I'm not a big vodka drinker but I still loathe it. It was my mum's favourite poison growing up, still is infact. She would always drink it because she thought it had no smell and thought she could get away with it without us kids knowing.
Ofcourse I could always smell her from across the room when she'd been drinking.
