Hello All,
My first time talking in a Forum or meeting about my alcoholism and drug abuse. Felt I could do it on my own, but do struggle and decided to do this rather than attend AA, NA, or other support groups. I've been clean and sober since 5/15/15. I definitely have urges and have to fight these off. I've been an addict of some type for over 25 years.

Welcome Mak. Congratulations on your sobriety time. SR is a great group of folks with years of accumulated experience and sobriety. Reading and posting will reinforce your commitment to remaining alcohol free.

Hi MAK and welcome! 4 months is a great achievement. Can you share what you've done to accomplish that? And you live in Napa.....oh my. Although I long ago moved from wine to vodka...much easier to hide and get drunk on.
