Day 6!
 

Hi all, On day six with no vodka! I went to 4 AA meetings last week and had an initial appointment with a therapist. I am not going to kid myself- this wont be easy, but I am happy to start a new work week not hungover. Good luck to all with addiction

Thanks for all the kind words. Today has been the worst- the kids were/are still complete insufferable little brats. I don't have my usual crutch so today was/is tough. Cant wait for bed, I am exhausted.

Can you call it a day and go to bed?

Great job on 6 days needanewme. It is not going to be easy , but well worth it. If you feel your getting stuck or in a rut try stepping out of your comfort zone....

Well done! Sounds like you're doing really well. Day 6 here too and it's been a hard day but I know it's worth it. We can totally do this ^_^

That feeling upon awakening, that one moment where you're just barely conscious and your very, very first thought is........Thank God I am sober again today!!!

That's why I keep coming back......nothing like it!

Fly--- I LOVE that moment!! Thinking about how great that feels really keeps me from giving in during cravings. I don't want to give that up.
