Day 2 and feeling better

Well it's day two - and like most I guess I'm trying to get that number up. Fell HARD off the wagon for five days - and missed three days of work, too. Getting up and immediately making cocktails.

I have to get real with myself. This is no way to live. This is the way to alienate those who love me while I slowly kill myself.
Can't wait for the itchies and the tremors to subside.
It felt so good to be healthy! Why did I do this to myself AGAIN!?!?!

You did it again because you have a disease! What is your treatment plan? It wasn't until I realized I had a "disease" that I did anything about it. I now have treatments every day....They only last an hour. Best wishes..

Congrats on Day 2. My guess to your question above is that you did it because you are an alcoholic. And most likely you were either not following your sobriety plan, or your plan didn't have enough tools to keep you from drinking again.

Did you miss three straight days at work? I know where I work, I would need a Drs note to miss that 4th day of work if my boss felt it necessary to see a note.

We all fall, time to dust yourself off again and roll forward.

You never have to feel this way again.

Look forward, move forward.

Thank you everyone for your words of support.

So far I have further investigated meditation, yoga, and AVRT method.

And coming to this site helps me a lot.
