Mesa, you probably never heard of the Atlanta Hawks broadcast team from about 30 years ago...Packer and Bender. They never billed them alphabetically.

Forum Decorum precludes me linking this. However, my Inner Bart Simpson is immensely amused by Googling *horrible wedding announcements*

Who sez there's no fun in Sobriety?

Sitting here laughing. My son is like "what's so funny mom?" "Ummmm... Just grown-ups being silly and a bit naughty, son."

There's tons of funny in sobriety! Probably good that the teacher is in the younger grades. Less likely to have snickering.

I think it's almost bedtime. I'm really tired tonight. Been a long week and it's only wednesday

Just a reminder to keep it nice guys...

the owners want this to be a welcoming place for everyone, and this thread may be someones first experience of SR.

Keeping things worksafe is a good yardstick.

Thanks
D

I did start it but that honestly is the poor woman's name and her dad's. I googled. I'm sorry. I'll try to grow up.

Your spell check was on the fritz, Ruby, you really meant to say,

'Miss Liquor'.

More appropriate for a sober website.

I was waiting for a comment from the management. ...that could have really gone rogue. I know we were all holding back and trying to be polite. It was a good chuckle. Good night funny friends.

I'm up way later than usual.

I should have been in bed three hours ago, but a good friend came over to share some news that he was moving out of the area. We were sad, but we ended up having a really lively and stimulating discussion and cigars. He just left. We will miss him!

He asked my husband if he should bring over a bottle of port. My husband asked me if it would be OK. Under the circumstances, I said, "Absolutely! Tell him to bring it over!"

So he, my husband, and son-in-law each poured ABOUT AN INCH into their coffee mugs (I got rid of all our old bar glasses). They did not refill! Normies never fail to astonish me! I wasn't tempted in the least. The guy took the remainder of the bottle home with him.

Man, I leave youz alone for a few hours and things go south...

Spent some time going through more albums - unfortunately I have a first issue of Led Zeppelin that is beat up. But I did find a Neil Young At the Beach first issue very rare that is in excellent condition! Far too many national lampoon albums and like.
I may be ordering more album mailers. I might have over fifty albums that are selling for 10 bucks and more. Some in the forties.

So I decided to take a break from looking at albums and discovered my collection of CVS misfit toys are going for 10 bucks a pop. And they are still kept in clean bags and all have the original tags on them. Wife didn't even bother me when she got home - except to make her dinner. If I can hang for a few hours I might challenge Della again for shotgun. Two weeks ago she beat me by a rabbit.

Plus I gotta get ready to make a garage sale. She'll need the garage before winter arrives.
