PAWS is hitting me like a dead weight

Day 51... last few days I've been getting "PAWS attacks" or something of the sort. First I have trouble focusing, and then I get more tired than I ever, ever get. Eyes crossing, head drooping tired. Today I actually just passed out while working on the computer! (Not working yet, thank goodness... just at home job hunting).

I went to bed at 10:30 last night and slept til 6:30, so it's not that I'm not getting sleep. I've been to the doctor already so I'm pretty sure it's just PAWS. This kind of sleepiness didn't happen in previous quits, but I wasn't nearly as bad off as I was this time around.

Anyone experience similar? I know I just need to deal. But it's pretty irritating!

I have suffered them a couple of times normally around the 2 month mark. Mainly headaches, fatigue, some dizziness... I seem to recall it lasted a week or so.. I just made sure I ate & drank properly so I was getting the right nutrients... Funnily enough though this time round I haven't had them.. It will pass Fantail, just treat it as a cold or something, just don't let it get the better of you... Wishing you well..

At 51 days it could be PAWS or it could even still be some lingering actual withdrawal symptoms. When you say you passed out on the computer did you actually pass out as in you lost consciousness or did you just nod off to sleep? If it's the latter i'd definitely follow up with your doctor, that's nothing to mess around with.

PAWS par for the course, IMHO. Tiredness and lethargy last a long time for some people. Keep it going, fantail!

Thanks everyone.

Scott, I fell asleep in a comfy chair. I didn't hit the floor or anything, just nodded off. More irritating than worrisome! I guess if I weren't in the earliest of sobriety it would have been worrisome. But right now it was just annoying.

Jezza - 2 month mark for you too? I hope it plays out that way for me too! Napping during the day just reminds me of being drunk. Hopefully it's just a week or two like this.
