Still sober

Still here, today I posted for the first time. Have had a few thoughts of drinking this evening but keep remembering how tired and mashed my brain was at work this morning, really felt like I wasn't functioning and at this rate people will start to notice. It really ISN'T WORTH IT!! Why can't I just be normal!!!!

Must admit I haven't really got a plan. I'm going to my first aa meeting tomorrow but other than that I'm not sure.

It will get easier with time and some work on our part. Don't be afraid to post in here once a minute if it'll help keep those cravings at bay. We're here for you 24/7.

Thanks guys. I have a blog too that I started randomly and although I've been in touch with some lovely people on it it can be hours before comments come through. I needed something more immediate where there would be people waiting to offer support when I really need it!!

You're doing really well! AA and SR are a very good start. Quitting drinking is easy; staying sober is the tricky bit. But you're doing great
