The grass is definitely better on this side.

Cravings are minimal, sleep has finally gotten better and deeper, confidence is rising and so is general motivation and ambition. Not to mention I feel like I have gotten Smarter over the past 19 days,

The more days that iam knocking down, the more enthusiasm I get to stay sober.

At the moment I will be surrounded by alcohol and company as iam visiting lots of relatives in another city, but the more people I tell that "iam not planning to drink" then the more enthusiasm I have not to go back on my word and and not let people down. So far I've stuck to my word despite pressure. And I am 100% sticking to my plan, there is no doubt in my mind.

As long as I never take that first drink, everything should be fine.

And when I DO want to have a drink, I just remember where it will take me, and Iam automatically put off.

Not lying, i still want to drink really badly, but the cons far out weigh the pros.
