I've been reading other threads since I got home from work. One of them was the FORGIVE yourself thread. Immediately thoughts just started going through my head and I just feel like typing on here tonight and being with other people like me.

What I won't miss:

Hangovers
Being belligerent
DUI's
Suspended License
Hiding and lying to wife about drinking
Jail
Verbally abusive
Paying lawyers
Not remembering what happened the day/night before
Lying to work
Breaking things
Crashing cars

Ha the list goes on, but help is coming!

Heya getitright, this list seems like a great thing to do. Who would miss those things?! Mine is different but it's helpful to remember what they are, and that we've learned them from experience. Thanks for this.

I love that you made this list! It looks like a great bunch of stuff to leave in the dust. There's another list, too, and that one contains all the good things that will come to us with sobriety. I'm looking forward to seeing that list come to fruition!
