HI Guys....Hope your all Well

Hi folks. I'm Cas n I'm new here......

Hoping to remain sober by being here.

However, at this very very Moment, I am so so craving. What makes it easier to go out, is town is open until 5am this morning....AaaRgh...trying coffee now and to distract my mind.

Why can't I just go to Bed????

Thanks Guys.

When cravings got really bad in the early evening I would go to bed, even if I just rested... it made me think the day was done and i would wake up without a hangover or withdrawals. Hang in there.

Welcome! Going to bed is not a bad idea (as long as there's no alcohol in the house.) Why are you starting your journey to be sober now?

Welcome, Cas!

Trying to distract yourself is the best way to go, and the cravings will ease up. I hope you keep reading and posting.

Welcome, Casleo, to SR.

Welcome to SR, Casleo. You've already made one very positive step by joining this forum and asking for help instead of going out on the town.

I highly suggest joining and actively participating in the Class of August 2015 thread found on this same forum. It's a great way to learn from and help others who are also in early recovery.
