I feel a peacefulness in bed 22:30 here in uk . So happy I got the last 28 hours behind me .

I barely escaped serious trouble. Now I quit. Day 109. ODAT.

I'm not drinking today.

Kept my job, my family, my freedom. My health is getting better each day.

I had alcohol in my system for about that last 20 years.

This forum saved my life.

Hi Tam - so glad you've joined us. You never have to feel alone.

I found as I got older it was impossible to keep recuperating from my drinking days. In the end, I was drinking every day to avoid shaking & nausea. I was numb & foggy all the time. It's no way to live. I think it'll really help you to be with us. Best wishes on your day 2 tomorrow.
