I'm very in. I'm moving my son to college tomorrow. I'm going to put on a very strong and supportive and excited face. But in the inside I'm falling apart. I'm very excited for him to begin this part of his life journey and realistically he isn't very far from me so I will see him more than if he was far away. I'm sad though because it is just me and pup living here now. I will be able to spend more time at my boyfriend's house if I choose too....but it isn't the same. Every thing is different.

Tetra, that was a nice gesture, they won't forget you in a hurry.

Cute ArtFriend, glad you are here for the weekend

Well, I had a pretty good round, 26, my best ever is 25 but look at the Leader Board, I am 9 shots off the lead, or put it another way, a shot a hole!

I'm in for another sober weekend.
As far as forgiveness, that is something that I've always struggled with. For others, and for myself.

Soberclover.....when I took my daughter to college I swore that I was going to be strong. I cried like a baby and couldn't stop. It's a very emotional event. It's OK if you cry.

I am in as well. Great theme Ken. Much to reflect on.

Excited about waking up sober on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday ...

I am having lunch with a friend tomorrow (she suggested lunch or a glass of wine after work - I picked lunch ). A big hike on Saturday and possibly another one on Sunday. This is going to be a great weekend!

Artfriend LOVE the kittens. I watch quite a few animal videos that people share on Facebook... always put a smile on my face and gives me a few laughs.

Tetra, a nice good bye gift you left... enjoy visiting your parents

Worked really hard today - it feels fabulous to get stuff done with a clear brain.

I read the article you posted about forgiveness Behan and it is spot on... great read.

Have a good sleep everyone!

Yay today is my Friday. I was very worried to take this job and having 3 day weekends every week. Too much time on my hands was always a problem for me but now I am so busy doing things that I never did while drinking 3 days doesn't seem long enough.

Still here at work and starting to feel the fog lift. Its not too stressful here today which I am grateful for.

It amazes and saddens me how much I can drink and not suffer from a hangover or withdrawals.

I am feeling more confident that I may be able to break the cycle today. I want to go back to my old routine of gym, work, personal time, bed.

My goal is to go to the gym tomorrow and not drink tonight.

Today is my Friday as well, Della!

But I am exhausted from the week. My headache has a headache.
I have running around to do tomorrow and then a work thing/picnic/party that I have to show up to on Saturday. I am hoping I can leave early enough to stop by the fair on the way home, otherwise funnel cakes and goats will have to wait until next weekend.

I see a little mindless television in my very near future.

alright already, what exactly is crazy golf? I thought it was what we here in 'merica call miniature golf. But it can't possibly be the same thing... can it?

Tetra, good for you. You will be remembered and appreciated by your coworkers. And soon enough something will come your way.

Alright, I was expecting to see more of 'supernatural' except the missus had a few days off and must have watched the last 4 or 5 seasons while I was away. The point is this: She is now watching 'scrubs' and that is far worse than 'supernatural'. But if I want my shoulders rubbed I have to watch scrubs. The things I must do...

Dr told me to make an appointment for February when my annual exam is due. Of course these tests are not accurate 100%. There are false positives and false negatives... otaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy... so if I get pains in the chest and prolonged symptoms I should go to the hospital or see a doctor.
I could have bought 8 half gallons of ice cream with that twenty bucks!
I did put on five pounds almost during my visit to hotlanta... need to drop 30 pounds now.
have a good evening -- Della -- get on your bike and ride! Or go fishing...

wow, three posts since I started typing... who is Buck Cherry?

Is there anything low carb at a state fair? Anything?

Buck Cherry?

Good luck on low carb Della. It's awesome that you and Olive have 3 day weekends.

I'm at hairdresser right now. Stopped in to pick up kids at my parents'house. They weren't there but my Dad was. Laying in bed. I said my piece and peace with him. He said he's ready to go. He's not in pain, just feeling weak. He hasn't been eating. Sorry I'm a downer. Tho my friend who works in the hospital dad left yesterday said they wouldn't have sent him home yesterday if they thought he was dying. So, who knows. It's a roller coaster
