My. Dr. Appointment is finally here. After having to change Drs and reschedule twice due to a language barrier I'm finally headed for bloodwork and a check up. I am officially freaking out. Honestly I don't even know why I am so nervous. Physically I feel great - being sober has been one of the best decisions I've made in my life. So why is my anxiety through the roof? I made sure to get up early, eat a health breakfast, hit the gym, shower and have a healthy lunch before I head to my afternoon appointment so here I go...Telling myself that this is a hood decision and I'm still in early days of sobriety so naturally my emotion are high but damn, I'm seriously ready to get this appointment over with and my results back.

Just wanting to vent a little and ask for good vibes. Thank you!

Kamm, I'm sending good vibes your way. Fear of the unknown is almost always anxiety inducing. If there's nothing, great. If the doctor finds something, you can do something about it more easily while sober. Hang in there

Gym, good nutrition, sounds great.
Anxiety can cause issues, you just need to keep on track....

Best of luck Kamm. I am always nervous around doctors too, but in then end it makes you feel much better to get checked out. Relax ans let them take care of you!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Tests are done and now I wait until next week for the results. Thankfully I have a sober weekend planned with lots of activities. ♡♡
