I hear you, I used to think about drinking as a reward also. I have found that when such thoughts creep up I play the tape in my head, you know the one that says; If I drink tonight, I will loose control at drink number X, then all bets are off. I might not get home without driving drunk and If I get home safe, I will soon begin to feel the hangover creeping in and tomorrow is lost. Tomorrow I feel for sure get the anxiety along with the throwing up or throbbing headache with cold sweats. All my plans for tomorrow will be broken and I have to start over again with day one. Usually after that plays through in my head, I'm glad that I'm not a drinker anymore. Good luck,

congratulations on 25 months that's great! I am about the same age and have the same history as far as the length of time I drank. I hope I can make it to 25 months!!!
