One Week
I know this week I have gone on rather a lot on here, often with the same old woes over and over. My ten days before I was rather upbeat though I did share some of the tough times and was a bit up and down. This week has been somewhat harder than last time. I have had a lot of pretty big downs and you guys have really helped. Just wanted to say thank you for all helping me get back up to one full week. It has been a week of many tears and a lot of broken heart and loneliness on top of the withdrawal and I would have found it so much harder without you all. I have felt lost and hopeless at times and very alone but I reached out and you were there. I made it through the first week and I think I am slowly starting to mend though a long road lies ahead.
We know how hard it is - but things will keep getting easier.

Congratulations. I know it's not pleasant for you, but sometimes struggling a bit can protect you from becoming over-confident. The AV can pounce unexpectedly when we feel like we've got everything under control and drop our guard.

I don't think I am going to feel like I have everything under control for a while yet lol. There has been so much change recently in my life, which I guess helps as I have to create all new routines. If I start out with healthy ones I guess my new life can always have some distance from my bad habits.
