Wow day 7 and I'm feeling great about my sobriety.. I was invited 3 different places last night and all included drinking and even tho it was hard to turn down I said NO to them all... I'm working those sober muscles like I never have before and I know it is with the help of SR so thank you so much for that.. I'm still waiting for that AV to flare up with a vengeance but I'm ready for it! I've never wanted to be sober like I do this time around.. Thinking ahead to the future does make me skeptical because I've never been able to quit completely but I heard a quote and it said " The good thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time." What an amazing way to look at things .. I've never been able to just focus on the 24 hours ahead of me but I'm working on that and I'm just going to take it one day at a time and really focus on not having the first drink ever again! I'm so grateful for this group of people in recovery because it's really helping me stay clean so thank you all so much for sharing and being so honest! We can do this . Happy Saturday everyone!

Great job! I'm only 1 day behind you. I'm struggling mentally today. I think the AV is really trying to get into my head. Luckily, I'm in it to win it, and I know this too shall pass.
