handling stress - advice pls
I've suffered from debilitating panic attacks for many years. They are just bloody awful! I've been getting help with them from a pro for years and have finally accepted that I'm not broken, odd, weird, or strange. It's just a chemical imbalance that makes me completely over-react and lose my s*** during times of stress. The therapy has helped more than I can say. My doc has taught me ways to calm myself and recognize when the attacks start. Guess that's not really advice, but wanted to let you know you're not alone. I've often wondered if I drink to dull the panic or if the panic is related to the drink.
