Don't know what to do
Hi ElleDee - I've only been sober for 6 months and I understand your feelings.
I used to think that "You work and then you die". That was my sum existence, so I drank.
I'm not a social animal by any means, although I do enjoy the company of some of my family members and have been getting more involved in my niece and nephew's lives by taking an interest in what they do.
Also developing new interests - like making money flipping items takes up time and it gives me a buzz to buy bargains, make cool ads on ebay and then sell stuff at a profit.
If you've been sober for more than a short time, then as others have said, perhaps see a doctor. Depression can make the world a bleak and cold existence.

Not got any advice though happy to chuck you a hug. Been soaking up the replies. I have not managed to find my happy yet though I am very early days. I didn't really have my happy with the drink though either. Not sure when it packed it's bags and moved out. I was probably drunk at the time.
