Some of you might remember me. I was sober for over 5 years then drank again. The first 5 years of recovery were pretty hard going and I dealt with several very stressful life challenges without taking a drink.

Then I got a job in a different city and made a lot of money went to a tuxedo do in that city and walking up the stairs to the event had a choice of picking up the pink grapefruit juice or the champagne and chose the champagne.

Since November last year when I picked up that first drink the spaces between drinks have become less and less, the anxiety has increased, my family are extremely worried again and I am back in the madness again.

Can't seem to get back into AA not really want to go back again at the moment so going to residential for minimum of 28 days to get back into recovery and deal with anxiety issues I did not deal with in the 5 and a bit years I was sober.

See you on the other side God bless all.
