i have to do this!

Hello! I'm starting over again after having 105 days. I screwed up on July 17 and can only put together a few days before drinking again.
Need support to help me get back on track. Thanks for listening!

Hi Sharon, and welcome to SR.

Do you know what triggered you to drink again after 105 days?

BTW... congrats on 105 days! That's an awesome accomplishment.

Sure do! Got together with a few of my best friends from high school for a girls weekend. Funny thing is I noticed that two of my friends had a few drinks and they were done. Me and another friend would just keep drinking till drunk. I knew it would be a problem ... didn't go in with a plan. Actually I knew I was going to drink. Can't do it !

Welcome back Sharon

I had to make some real changes to my lifestyle and to my priorities - but I'm really glad I did.

There really is amazing life after quitting drinking

I know Dee. There was a time that didn't drink for years. And life was really good during my recent 105 days. I'm very fortunate thay I haven't had suffered any consequences from drinking ... not yet anyway. I want to keep it that way. Will probably attend some AA meetings. I have in the past..
and will read and post here for support.

For me, I had to remember I am trying to stay sober today, not trying to race back to 105 days. When I think of previous sober runs as the goal, then it makes "I'll start tomorrow" seem like much less of a set back than it really is. Not saying this is you, but I have to stay focused on today.
