So, your work and your bf are giving you another chance. This is your moment to step up and make sure you show them that you appreciate the opportunities.
Don't allow yourself to get caught up the cycle of drinking/shame/drinking again. That happened to me so many times and you really have to step out of it. Try the suggestion from your therapist and come up with a plan that will work for you.

Hi Chloe. Look at my signature. No one has to give up just because they drank. As others have said, just take it as a wake-up call, learn something from it, and keep up the good fight. We can all do this, and we will.
If shame drives you to drink, then ditch the shame and just accept that you are human and you make mistakes. We all do. We're working toward progress, not perfection (I heard that somewhere). Please stick around and keep going. One lost battle does not lose the entire war.
