Mesa, I have an ISP with super slow speeds and watch streaming video just fine on the ROKU. It does something magical to the speed...even when I have trouble on the interwebz, the ROKU is golden.

And now my gripe. "Windows 10 is ready for installation."

ANGTFT...and yet, I did ask for it.

Had a little set back this week. Really not happy with myself. Gonna change up my plan a bit and get back on track. Day 2 again today. Looking forward to a sober weekend.

Hey BiM ... three weeks to fully heal but about a week and things are doing much better. Just a lot of keeping out of the sun and cleaning it properly.

I will post a pic later when I get home from work.

Talk soon Team!

Looking for some of our usual suspects to check in... no time for shyness when we need to stay on track. Say hello!!!

wow weasel, the crowd is hopping already, BigS I imagine you driving down the bumpy roads in your truck with an 8 track player installed,

I had to skip breakfast but I made up for it, one WHOLE cup of oats with strawberries and blueberries plus a peach! I am picking a random cd from a couple boxes of cds I have every day. So far I haven't chosen any main stream music... Today's winner, Clifton Chenier, Louisiana Blues and Zydeco!
It got my heart jump started driving down the highway dancing and playing the steering wheel like a drum kit... Stress test went okay, doc said all looks good. Now I am wired for sound. But I don't have a land line and you need one to call in the event after they happen. Don't they know many people don't have regular phones any more? Except the geriatric crowd - I am a far ways from that!

Ruby try not to get into trouble dancing...

as Al Chervik would say, "Let's Dance!"

Brain...my dad still has a landline and the same number we had growing up. It's The only number I still have memorized. Remember when we used to actually memorize people's phone numbers?

I've eaten so much junk food this week with my niece and nephews that I think I'm starting to crave it now! I gotta nip this in the bud!.......(right after a few more Doritos)

One of the perks of living in Wisconsin - cheese curds. Stopped at the creamery and picked up super fresh, never refrigerated squeaky curds. And some seriously good garlic summer sausage. Oh, and the BEST caramel corn from a local place that is truly amazing. Seems like lunch to me...

MLD, what time should we be over for dinner?

okay, jingle contest time, Weasel has a prize for the first person to correctly answer this: It's a fill in the blanks.

Candy coated popcorn, peanuts and a prize. That's what you get in _______ ________.

Hi all recent passengers!!!

MLD - all those foods you mention sound delightful. I don't think I have had caramel corn or cheese curds, unless they are called something else. Garlic sausage sounds Germanic - wunderbar!!!!

Can't wait to finish for the day, feel crazy!! This would have involved a trip to the off license in the past. Cans and wine until I collapsed drunk in bed. No intention of doing that now. Going to ride this emotional storm out - whatever the hell that means!!

I hope everyone is doing ok.

I want garlic summer sausage! Yum. Now that I have an entire drawer for cold cuts in the fridge. Too bad there's no close place for that.

BigS, I hope that your weekend goes more smoothly than the week. Hang in there.

You too Tetra. Relatives are sometimes a pain in the neck.

I think I'm going to sit in my car to warm up. Freezing inside.

Behan - cheese curds are hard to describe. They are little semi-soft cheese chunks. When they are fresh, they squeak when you bite them. They are best the day they are made, before they are refrigerated. Here's a video of the process of making them. They were "invented" here in Wisconsin and are hard to find fresh anywhere else.

Love cheese curds, never had them fresh like that though yum!

Do they still make Cracker Jack? I liked it for the prize. It was the only time I ever actually got the prize since the prizes in the cereal boxes were always claimed by my older siblings.

Hang on Behan. We'll get through the storm together!

Hey all ,
Training course nearly over ! 68 mile commute either way is annoying, i should finnish early tomorrow .
I'll be glad because the festival here is having a major impact on the roads .. It's been a heavy week of learning too .

Today the sky has turned a lovely blue , i'm sure the further north i go the sky seems to change and when it's clear it is *really* clear somehow .

A glorious day, to be sure

later , m

Yes they still make it. I haven't had it in a long time. I've been spoiled by the stuff I get locally. Soooooo much better.
