Drinking again.
Hi folks. As always very sorry to let you down. I'm drinking today but after this day I decided to give it a full stop.
I've been through some antagonizing times lately, and I mean VERY mean times, in my perspective. The drinking doesn't even help, it just numbs and gives a stupid feel.
Joining in again tomorrow... Life's pretty much a wreck, can't pay rent, or can given certain situtations... but anyway... have a nice sober day everyone, I'm hopping on the wagon soon. I know it's the best choice.

Hi Unixber, nice to meet you.
Firstly although I am new here I think everyone would agree that you're not letting anyone on this board down, and no one is disappointed with you. If we could all make a complete break into permanent sobriety what a wonderful world it would be eh.
Unfortunately our troubles can cause us to regress back into drinking, it is basically an anaesthetic for your feelings... But I'm sure you know this already. It's really inspiring to see that you recognise no good will come of it..
I hope we will meet on here in better times for you... And stay positive.
Eddie.

Unix, you have my support. What has been happening that is causing you to want to relapse? You have had a few attempts this year at sobriety and what happens that makes you slip back? I hope the best and you can make it work this time. What are you going to do different?
Welcome back Unix... happy to hear you are stopping drinking.
Finding the root of the problem maybe helpful... why do you drink? Is there an underlying problem? For me, it was clinical depression and anxiety that was never treated... and by me making an appointment with an addiction psychiatrist has made a HUGE difference.
Wishing you the very best!

Jump back in to the August 2015 class, there's lots of support there.

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. Today is day 1 off the booze and I've made up my mind about this. I'll go through what recovery brings and stick to sobriety. Drinking never brought me any good, disaster it did, because it confuses people etc.
So one more soul to the sober gathering.
