Oh I feel for you, no coffee sucks. But a smoothie is a great idea and really is a great treat. I know ginger gives an energy boost, you could add some fresh ginger to whatever else you put in. Make sure to add some plain yogurt for some protein before your run. It also gives it a nice, creamy texture.
Hmmm, I might need to get back on the smoothie thing again, it has been a while since I made one!
