Ty guys! Yes...I have a Dr apt on the 12th. So i can chat with him then. I feel OK...my brain is still sneaking those Thoughts in like you can have a few...you didn't really have a problem...ect...but I know better. I'm trying to find other things to feel good about besides booze while maintaining my job and kids n home. I feel better having u guys

I have shaking which seems to come from inside out but not that bad. My mind is playing tricks on me...line I think I wasn't that bad ect...but that's it really...day three now...

And yes plan...meetings and working the steps. In my spare time I just keep busy and read as much as I can.

Hello and welcome, we can all relate. I hope you start to feel more level soon. If not, do see a doctor. It is not easy to get through these first days and weeks but if help is out there to make it even a little bit better, why not take it?

Welcome Christimac. You're definitely not alone and have found a great community here at SR.

I was also drinking a box of wine every day or a case of beer a day. That's years after the doctors diagnosed me with Fatty Liver Disease which is when I gave up hard liquor for beer and wine; stupid rationale I know.

Quitting was the best choice I ever made. you won't regret this decision, I promise.

Congrats on 3 days, huge accomplishment!

Tu guys!I have a Dr apt on 12th. I feel OK besides the mental stuff. Waves of icky I call it. I have the opportunity to move to a newer updated apartment which I'll take. May sound weird but it'll help not being here anymore where I'm reminded of my Benders in each room Lol...anyway...Ty for being there for me!
