It gets old, but I'd rather be hot than cold any day.

Sao ~

Nice Deco Light Fixtures! We have a few such items, and love 'em.

After you mentioned it a few days ago, I looked up for grins where your Daughter is working in the Big Apple. I did a drive-by via 'Street View' on Google Earth. Swanky lookin' Exterior on that Joint. Coincidentally, the Light Fixtures are fairly similar in style to the ones you posted up-Thread.

Low 90s F here. Gusty Winds kickin' up, unlike my AV!-)

Da Wife is down in Small Town USA doin' Pilates; Lunch; Errands; and printing out some stuff at the Library from her Laptop. The Mesa Media Complex here is a ways from being set-up.

I'm gonna head out to chill in A/C in the new Trailer, and muck around to learn some other Trailer System. It's a ~180 s.f. 'Tiny House', really, so everything needs to have a place w/o exceeding the ~2,000 lb. capacity to load it with endless schitte. Easy to do, actually, when adding Bikes and Firewood and 50 Gallons of Water @ 8.3 lbs/Gallon. Fortunately, my Plaid Mankini is lightweight, breathable Fabric.

For the first 'Shake Down' Trip, I'm thinkin' we'll default back to this >20 Mile long Rez, and gorgeous area, a few hours away. Once we get down all the niggling details, we can subsequently head out to Boondock in more remote areas.

All part of the fun...-)

Busy work day!!! Glad to be home.

Air is on and I feel wonderfully peaceful. Something only being sober can give.

Beef stew reheating. Who else thinks leftovers taste way better sometimes. Damn this is good.

Since I make my lunches for the whole week on the weekend, I am technically eating leftovers every day.
I love leftovers, they do taste better!

When living on your own it often make sense to cook for two nights. It means throwing to much stuff away otherwise

Mesa - yes I was pleasantly surprised about the Poisson Rouge. Art & Clubbing sounds pretty good (wish there had been places like that when I was her age).

I'm still slightly concerned her work permit/eligibility but she seems to know what she is doing

Ken...Did you get a tattoo this weekend? I remember reading about it, just don't know if it was this weekend or not.

So glad I didn't go to the lake this weekend. My guy didn't go to work today and is still asleep (massive hangover). I've been vacuuming (is that bad?).

Beautiful photo as always, Mesa. Hope all goes well on the trial run.

oh, fresh sockeyeball salmon was on sale for 10.99. Usually it is 17 or 18 a pound. Poached it, made a salad with lots of goodies and sauteed yellow squash with fresh picked plum tomatoes and added eyetalion seasoning and garlic at end. Just a pinch of salt and peppa on the salmon, coated the skin with olive oil and turned on the heat covered. a few minutes later turn off heat and let it finish! Salmon was awesome and had a nutty flavor to it. Exceptional piece of salmon. If I knew it was this good I would have splurged for a couple filets instead of just one.

I'd rather listen to dogs howling at fireworks than pay 72 bux to see culture club. But the wife about peed herself when the tickets arrived.
And now she is watching her 'supernatural' show again. She really is a teenager. Interesting that the younger brother in the show looks very much like I did when I was in my early twenties. Maybe that's why she likes the show , maybe? I thought it a bit spooky when I saw the guy, I have pics to prove it - back when I had hair all over the top and a baby face.

I just bought tickets to see the Zombies. I have never seen them, but they are playing with the symphony, so it must be good!

I just saw two seats in the founders tier row A for 93 bucks!

I'm tempted to buy them. Would have been a definite do if the seahawks were at home on thursday instead of away.
Zombies on Weds, seahawks on thursday... live on the train in between
