Got this Pic of our Neighbors before some light, intermittent Rain moved in. No biggie. A sunny & dry Weekend is on tap...

I ask Bartenders for non-Alcoholic Drinks, and let them convince me of something creative. Some haven't a clue; no originality at all. Others really light up at the request, and put some kind effort into it.

Some of the Moving-related effort today was contacting a 2nd Wireless Internet Company to see what they can do for us. Pretty modest Download Speeds, but enough for Streaming Video if there's only 'reasonable' Peak Period congestion. 30 day Trial, so that works for me. Will gimme some challenges to start over with all-new A/V arrangements, and PC connectivity.

Fresh local Corn for Dinner, since we had an ample Lunch out. Blueberry Crisp w/Choc Chip Ice Cream! Yumbo wey wey...

I haven't had a slushie in a long time sounds good though. Hope everyone got safely through the cravings today. You too Sao. Any cheesecake left?

I decided not to go to the lake this weekend. Not because I'm afraid I'll drink, but because I don't want to have to take care of the drunk people! (One girl in particular who is a sloppy dramatic drunk!). I don't have the patience for it right now. It annoys me to even think about it! So, I get the house to myself for two whole days! Pure heaven!

I can hardly keep my eyes open after very little sleep last night but it's only 8 here so will try and hold off going to bed a little longer.

Hope your head feels better, olive.

I'm thinking early bedtime, too. I got enough sleep last night but running around in the heat today took it out of me. The house is nice and cool though. I can't WAIT to see my electric bill this month. :|

Tetra, you had me laughing out loud with the comment that "nothing's wrong with her mouth.". I'm still chuckling.

I got through the cravings. I should have packed my own beverages, a few la Croix waters. There was no alcohol at the pool. My husband's uncle is an alcoholic, in sobriety, so there are no beers stashed in his man cave. The aunt isn't an alcoholic and mentioned cooking with wine but didn't have any evident.

I had a taste for a mojito flavored iced tea that I've had but it wasn't available at the shop I went to. They had the other varieties. Ginger and green tea. There's no alcohol in the mojito flavored one. Just wasn't in a ginger mood.

My son has a cold. Nothing worse than summer colds. Trying to get him to take a cool shower and get in bed.

What's super awesome? I've had two days off already and still have two more. Love it! I could get used to three day weeks.

I'm sitting and relaxing now. Way to go 2wheelsgood! 45 days is great.

Saturday. I think there will be housework going on because Sunday we're going to a birthday party unless my son is too sick. He usually bounces back pretty quickly.

I was reading another thread and someone mentioned being bored on a friday night. It's been so long since I've been bored. There's not enough time in the day anymore. I don't watch the clock anymore wondering when I'd be drunk enough to be ready for bed.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement this afternoon. It really helps. Mecanix, it is the lie the addiction tells. Truly. Glad I could shut it down.

morning all ,
Up at 4:30 this morning ready for an early offing to london .

Glad people got though the cravings , if you didn't then time to ditch the dregs and start over , persistence and practice means you will get there , don't quit on quitting .

Had a craving for alcohol tonight but I made it through it. Having a plan has helped immensely. Day 89 tomorrow. It's 9:17pm. Going to bed soon. Goodnight.

Glad to hear that you guys made it through Friday cravings. ...it baffles me how they come out of nowhere.
I've been busy all day with work and tonight had a nice time with my sister. She doesn't drink so it was easy. I missed the activity here.
got lots of plans for the weekend so I may not be around much. Will try to say good morning tomorrow. ...
