I'm back.
I'm back.
Hi all,
I'm back, I messed up for awhile but came back to what helped me the most. I was thirty days in then fell.
Oh well as long as I know I messed up I can put it behind me and not let it happen again. So if you see me creeping around your posts I am gathering your knowledge on how to handle the hard times.
Sorry for letting you down. And letting myself down.
I won't let it happen again!

Hi and welcome back.
Hard times can be living life on lifes terms and that happens like it or not. It helped me when I started to accept things that used to make me batty, angry, resentful or whatever.
I found out that there is absolutely no need to drink for whatever reason as drinking never solved any issues but often made things far worse.
I learned “ya don’t have to drink over it.”
BE WELL
I fell when I found out brother has lymphoma, and I felt helpless. And I just got weak.
It is odd how you feel so wore out when bad news hits and you turn to something that made you feel bad before. I gave up. Now I'm pulling up my boot straps and hitting it head on. Hoping I am a match for bone marrow transplant.

Welcome back rain. I'm sorry your brother has lymphoma and I hope you are a match.
I found that reading and creeping around the threads only got me so far so I hope you join in, actively, and share your experience and ask a lot of questions. You can do this.

Welcome back Rainbug, sorry to hear about your brother!!
Probably a good time to shore up the Sobriety toolbox now for when the next storm hits, a few more resources, more support, whatever is needed to make Sobriety happen in both the good and the bad times.
That was the key for me, it was easier not to drink when life wasn't throwing me a few curve balls, the challenge came when the rollercoaster of life kicked in.
You can so this!!
