Work help
Can anyone help me with some stress relieving techniques at work?
I work a stressful health and social care job. There are other jobs that have far more responsibility, are busier and require more Input yet people are capable of doing them so I've concluded I'm having so many issues because of the stress I'm putting myself under. The relationship with my manager is under strain ,however I'm not going to use that as an excuse for my own performance dwindling. Just because he's at odds with me and hyper critical, doesn't mean I need to get dragged down into it.
I'm certain stress hampers my productivity, I want to come across confident and competent. How do I do this?
I'm not stupid, I know I'm asking daft questions but I think the stress is getting to me
Thanks

I believe there is a lot of information out there regarding stress relief techniques. Im sure you could find one that suits you. Mine has always been strenuous exercise. Not sure why, but taking that energy from my mind through the body works for me. Of course there is always anti-anxiety medication. But I can tell you, it helps, but you will still experience stress. Its a normal reaction to certain situations.
Did I give you the link to a recent thread on stress Stewy?
