Edit that Bernie had a heavenly day and to check out bookstore.

Mecanix, I hope your chicken soup works. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well.

Rain has abated. It's Monday. I dumped scalding coffee on my hand but I'm not in pain as Tetra was. On my shifting hand in car. Tetra, hope your leg is doing well.

Hope your flu passes soon Mecx - what a bummer. I had the flu jab in October so hopefully it will work.

Congratulations on the new fridge Ruby - one of life's greatest worries is whether or not that little light goes out after you close the fridge door, I mean how do you know?

It always amazes me how much pain people are willing to endure to look good. Hope it is appreciated. The most pain I ever endured was at school when I dyed my hair blonde (for about 10 days) once everybody started calling me Big Bird I knew I had to revert.

Had two work experience girls in today, they seem to understand spreadsheets better than me. They were 6th formers (17 year olds), I noticed a few of the young guys from downstairs (who don't usually waste their time shooting the breeze with the likes of me) found various excuses to ask me stuff. Might take em out to see some customers tomorrow - see if they have the same effect

Big Bird, eh? You'll be guarding the 17 year olds. I remember thinking I was so mature back when I was that young. I still actually remember being 17.

I've only had acupuncture once so I have no idea. A misguided attempt to curb cravings and cure my alcoholism. Didn't work. I'm still an alcoholic.

Lunch break. Chicken salad sandwich and cherries. I love cherries. I love white peaches too but hate buying them at the store. I'm waiting until the peaches on my parents' tree are ripe. Heaven!

I don't consider grocery shopping real shopping. It's just another chore. I guess I would if I was a foodie. I have a friend that would rather shop for food than clothes or shoes?!?! What?!?! That's just foreign to me!

Sao....you don't wax your eyebrows and get facials??

Ha Ruby! Of course you remember being 17! You act like you're ancient or something!
Remember turning 18 and finally being an adult?? What a disappointment THAT turned out to be! Who knew all it meant was having to work everyday with no summer break?!?!

I'm 55 and still waiting to turn into an adult.

No amount of waxing or facials would help me Brynn. Maybe embalming fluid

Brynn I'd much rather shop for food. I get all excited in a high end grocery store. There's no holding me back. Clothes shopping?? Now THAT's a chore. I do enjoy shoe shopping though.

Two boys have been arrested

The first was for drinking battery acid
The second was for eating fireworks

They charged the first boy and let the 2nd boy off

A friend posted this on her FB. She found it on The Soup's FB feed. It's Vitas - 7th Element. The you tube post has a lot of Russian comments. It's demented and strangely mesmerizing.

I'm not TOTALLY ancient Brynn. I'm like Sao. Still waiting to grow up.
