Angry
Lonely
Tired

Hunger is a huge one for me! I always used to drink before dinner, and then just plain didn't eat and continued to drink. If a thought comes to me about having a glass of wine, and I stop for a second and check if I'm hungry, it is 99% a yes answer. Even if I don't feel particularly famished, having a handful of trail mix or something with protein really helps.

It does get better!

Kudos on posting for support rather than just picking up! That's a huge step.

Thanks very much for all your answer. And yes hunger feeds my desire to drink. Also loneliness-I can be lonely in crowded room . I am just wired that way. My AV is telling me I don't want to be sober anymore. However for tonight I am going to bed sober. Praying I wake up with a different attitude in the morning. Thanks to all of your support I made it today!
