The issue has been reported.

I just tried (58 characters) Who is the biggest, most important influencer in your life and it didn't work anywhere

I then tried (57 characters) Who is the biggest, most important influencer in your lif and it worked everywhere!!

We'll get this fixed.
If that works you can then go back in and edit the title to whatever you intended it to be :

hit the 'edit' button on the post and then the 'go advanced' button - the title box is the second box from the top

Very helpful. Here I was thinking that my computer ineptitude was just a side effect of coming off the sauce.

Thanks for the info, Dee. I did try to start a thread and wasn't able to do it, but I thought it was because I was doing it from my phone.

A tip: before you try to post, copy and paste your text to the clipboard. If for some reason it gets lost, you can always get it back.

I just tried that and it didn't work for me Also tried in both Chrome and Firefox. Luckily I did copy my post, so if it starts working again I will post.

A lot of subject lines start with "Day" and once I wanted to post and just put in that word and it got stuck still. It seems that words that are often used also cause this problem.

What I do now is just put in something random by just tapping on the keyboard with all my fingers quickly. Like: lrnskgjnakzjnvkjz. Unlikely that that is commonly used.

After that you can go to edit and then choose the advanced (or whatever it's called) editing function and type in the name of the thread. Always works for me.

me

Hi, I'm new to this site and I'm not really sure what I should do or talk about. I sure could use some ears and advice. :

Thank you. I was in full POd panic attack mode yesterday and gave up angrily trying to find out why I couldn't post a new thread... Just posted now, for some reason it worked normally this time but the lingering frustrating yesterday caused me to yell at some folks around me.

I'm rather fragile these days and simple things such as a simple thing nor working...blows my gasket.

And this bug is a month in already.

I know this is an ongoing issue but please be patient.
Our IB tech team have many many forums to monitor, of which SR is only one.

Thank you SR tech team

Also if you follow D's advice by using 1 word to title the thread it should work

Welcome Twilley to SR

using words (one instead of 1) seems to help too.
