New to this website at 71 days

Hey =)

i have 71 days clean and my cravings to "escape" are getting pretty bad, so I came here. I hate that my using got so bad at the end. I cannot justify going back no matter how I try.

just wanted to introduce myself =)

Great to meet your AlysonL.

That's a great accomplishment of 71 days sober.

And it's a wonderful action to come here and post/interact when you feel like "escaping"

Keep using whatever works and keeps you sober.

Have you considered AA? It's been a great asset to my recovery. Whenever i have those similar feelings of escaping...I can call multiple folks and just talk...And usually those feelings fade pretty quick.

Coming to SR helps me a lot too!

Thank you all. .. its getting harder and harder. but thank you for your support. I'm gonna try to get through this cause I know it will go away. I need to get over my huge resentment toward aa. =/
