Cool - we have a comedy bus driver now

Shame you won't get longer with your nephew Ken

Congratulations on the successful scan Behan

Off to bed - should be easier to sleep than last night

I posted here last month that my family were heading off on holiday and I was worried about how I would cope being all alone.

I coped well, as it turned out. Although I was constantly glued to my phone. I had this idea that I HAD to be glued to the phone at all times, because if they called and I didn't answer, they would assume I was "on the bottle". (Yes, my mother uses those words).

I have just been informed that another trip may be on the horizon. This time I may be house sitting for two weeks. I am looking forward to it I enjoyed the previous experience: getting myself up for work, coming home and doing things that regular people do.

However, my heart is joyful tonight. My family seem to trust me again and I wish to give thanks.

I like my life. I used to pray for the things I have now. I'm not quite where I want to be, but I am closer than I used to be.

Corny jokes? I am the queeeeeeeeen!

What did the invisible man say to the invisible woman?
I can't see you anymore!

How does Moses make his tea?
He-brews it

What did the fish say went he hit a wall?
Dam!

Patient: Doc, I keep having these dreams. First I’m a teepee; then I’m a wigwam; then I’m a teepee; then I’m a wigwam. It’s driving me crazy. What’s wrong with me?

Doctor: You need to relax. You’re two tents.

In! Lurking in back with the naughty kids.

Today at work I got to tell someone, "Yes, those elevators go to eleven."

Well done Tetra! Great to feel trusted by others and to notice it.

Hi Solarion, I hope you are well.

Oh the jokes, make them stop. Which reminds me,two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The Ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

Good night...and good luck!

Ahhhhhh!
Home from work! Have tomorrow off, which is lovely. Dog going to the beauty parlor in the morning and then I don't know what. There are lots of little things to do around the house.

Although I enjoy getting a day off of work for the Independence Day holiday, I am not a fan of the day itself. Poor pup hates the noise and with our weather so, so dry and hot, it just seems like a disaster about to happen. Fireworks are not legal within the city limits, but that doesn't stop people.

I did stop by the post box yesterday and found a lovely postcard from Russia. No name, but I will assume it was from Brain!
Thank you, Brain!!

A very cool city tucked into a rock.

Off to the garden to water! Back later!

Love the jokes....the cornier the better!

My weekend of freedom has officially started! At one point I probably would've dreaded it and not trusted myself, but those days are long gone! Woohoo!

Cool photo, olive!

Soberpotamus, I hope you feel better soon. Yuck.

Olive, hopefully nothing starts blazing over the weekend.

Weas, I'm glad you will have time with your nephew. Sounds like he is looking out for you.

I'm back from getting ice cream. Following another meeting. Kids and I went. Totally forgot that the suburb in which the ice cream place is located has their parade today. We were lucky they were letting traffic through as the place is right on the corner but we got there and got a parking spot right in front. So ice cream and parade. Awesome!

How do you titillate and ocelot? You oscillate it's tit a lot. Can I say that?

I totally hear you LA!

Ok, so I just ate what I thought to be a single serve package of peanut butter M&Ms only to discover that it's a package containing 2 servings! Ugh! I feel tricked!

brynn - what is sad, is I did not really eat too much of what was on my plate! Even the waitress asked if I did not like it. I did, I was just sooooo full, so I will now probably be eating the remainder for days.

LA...the portion sizes served in restaurants in the US are so out of control. It's ridiculous!
