& it just gets f'in worse
I know my dad loved me and is proud of all I have accomplished.
I know my dad would not want to see alcohol have the same effect on my life as it did on his.
I k le how difficult this is. Try to focus on the positive memories and k ow that he will always be with you.
Se do g lots of love and hugs.
I am so very sorry, there are no words to make this easier. I lost my dad a little over five years ago and I still miss him terribly. Two things that helped:
I know my dad loved me and is proud of all I have accomplished.
I know my dad would not want to see alcohol have the same effect on my life as it did on his.
I k le how difficult this is. Try to focus on the positive memories and k ow that he will always be with you.

My name is August West, and I love my Pearly Baker best more than my wine.
More than my wine - more than my maker, though he's no friend of mine.

Death Will Go In Any Family In This Land.
Come To Your House, you know he don't take long.
Look in the bed on the morning, Children Find That Your Family's Gone."
He had his demons as well, but in the end he won ....

I'm so sorry for your loss, Dennis. My own dad passed away four years ago today and I think of him every day. It's hard to know I can't give him a ring and get his advice, but in a way I feel like I can close my eyes and hear his voice speaking to me. I hope you will try to honor him by living a life that would make him proud.
I'm very sorry for your loss, my prayers to you and your family.
Grief is like a ball of string, you start at one end and wind. Then the ball slips through your fingers and rolls across the floor. Some of your work is undone but not all. You pick it up and start over again, but you never have to begin again at the end of the string. The ball never completely unwinds. You’ve made some progress.
