Hi Martina, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but somewhere on that fabulous list should be, don't drink.
I can relate to the anxiety, a few years ago when I was drinking pretty heavily I had to stand up in a group meeting (business related) and speak just briefly, couldn't do it. Told my buddy i was ill, and left. I knew the real reason I had to leave. Went home and drank. That was I started to realize things were escalating to unacceptable level.

Thank you Anna yes you are right about the exercise. I have got membership at the gym but that has gone out the window the last few weeks so I am going to get myself back there. I forgot to put that on my action plan!
Thanks Dee I really do feel that this is the turning point that I needed. Any lingering doubts that I could handle drinking and still function at full throttle have gone. I have had some good runs this year at sobriety then crashed. Life is so much better sober and I am going to do all I can to make the best of myself and that means doing it sober
Hi all its the start of Day 2 and I want to say a huge thank you for all your replies. I am feeling very uplifted by you all and I am truly grateful.
I really don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this site and all the inspiring people on it.
Hope you all have a good day
