Hi my name is Levenius. I discovered this site by Google it looks pretty legit. I desperately want to be sober I'm addicted to adderall and weed. I have made the decision to quit asap! And I'm hoping I can find support and tips amongst you brave and strong people. How did you all get past the first couple of days?

I didn't use Adderall or weed, but I'm sure someone will be able to relate.

Any addiction cessation is going to be uncomfortable for a while. I just quit and toughed it out for a few days - then started working on the reasons I used and found better coping skills.

Hi! This section gets the most traffic, in case you need to get support right away. We also have a Substance Abuse forum which has a special section dedicated to weed.

You might want to see your doctor. Mine has done me a world of good.

I drove a stake in the ground and called it 'Sobriety'. I then chained myself to it like a rabid dog. Getting FREE was much like that.

... then, after a period of white-knuckling, and foaming at the mouth ... the MIRACLE happened thru doing the WORK ...

My poison of choice is alcohol, but yes - those first few days are rough. I agree that seeing a doctor is the safest thing. As Gilmer mentioned, the Substance Abuse forum is a good place to post too. It helps to read & post here - stay distracted and keep your mind busy. Good to meet you.
