LOL, I have also lost phones down the toilet...essentially phones and I are not friends!

We have a glow in the dark mini-golf here, which is pretty good fun. Also have a mini-golf on my street, right next to Dairy Queen, so ice cream consumption is required!

Thinking of dragging my sloth like self for a nice long bath. But that would involve abandoning my position of stopping the couch from escaping.

Chicken, baked potatoes, and zucchini sauteed in butter for dinner tonight. A husband and dog favorite

Okay, soooo. Last night after my 5PM espressos, I didn't get to sleep until midnight. LaTeeDa - three hours past my bedtime. Got up pretty early - maybe an hour later than usual. The problem is that it's hot. Can't sleep anyway, so I may as well stay up; and it gets dark at 10-ish!

*as she sits here with an iced latte at 4PM* I can quit any time I want.

2 Zen - that is unfortunate

Nearly midnight here, I was expecting to be very humid but it's not too bad

Hope everyone made it through the weekend.

Good night

Came into work early to beat the crowds/heat

Phew what a scorcher!

Quit your whining! It is hotter right now (88F/30C) at two in the morning in my West Texas town than the projected high in London this afternoon (86F/28C).

Of course the humidity is 16% higher in London.

Your used to it in West Texas Casey.

Also i'm not complaining, it makes a nice change from the usual cold/wet combo we have for 10 months of the year. Just makes sense to avoid hot and crowded underground trains. It also means i'm almost up to date with my emails (which is how I got time to post here in mid morning of a working day)

Things definitely quieter at work now and will be until the beginning of September.

Longest day of the year today, and of next year probably (it really is - at midnight tonight there is a "leap" second so today is 24 hours and 1 second long)
