48 hours sober
Nice to meet everyone. First time here, second time in recovery. My first attempt lasted a year and two months. That was 15 years ago. I'm back, and only 48 hours sober. I'd go to a meeting, but if I get in my car I would head to the store, instead, more than likely, so I decided I'd better get some help from the comfort of my own home. I think I may know maybe two people who are sober, and I'm just not willing to hang out with those two all the time, or even half the time. I'm going to need some serious support outside of my social norms if I'm to succeed at this.

Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for the great welcome! I am 7 days strong, and did make it to two meetings. Yes, I still crave a drink or twelve, but the physical craves have passed. It took nearly four days.
