The month of june...

OK well this month I've been drinking between 400mls- 1 Litre a day of spirits usually tequilla. I drink it straight and chase it with a little bit of juice or water. In the last 30 days I've had 5 straight days no alcohol.
I haven't got my self into any trouble I've just been drinking by myself after work or on days i dont have work. I work a physical job.

Thats all

Hi Kimura
It's been a while

Last time you were looking to quit for good.
Is that still the plan?

Yeah the plan is to quit for good. It's more just a fuzzy idea in my head as obviously the times I've tried to stop (like 100) havnt worked.

I'm glad you're back.

Hopefully you can firm up a plan for sober living.

This can kill you, Kimura. You've been "trying" for a very long time and drinking a lot.

Can you tell your doctor you want to quit? S/He can give you pills to help you past those first few hard days.

It's so worth it - you are so worth it.

Kimura having a real recovery plan is 5000% better than willpower & by the sounds of it willpower has you stuck in a rut it isnt working the best thing you could do for yourself is look at the top there are sticky threads in Newcomers

There is great advice available but you got to want it more than you want to drink

Go look for the sticky & get building a plan bud good luck

Hi Kimura, I'm no expert but I believe a litre a day of hard liquor is a lot. By your own admission you've try "like 100" times to stop on your own and are unable to. It may be necessary to take a "life time out", and allow professionals to help you. First off, the withdrawal process will be as close to painless as you can get. And then they, along with the good folks at this site, will provide you with some shiny new tools to use that will help keep you away from the booze. But only if you listen and take action (and that is where I have fell short on occasion). But they tell me it works.
