Today I made sure to eat, I contacted a woman from AA and she gave me some tips for my cravings, I ran errands with my kids, I am cooking now (which is relaxing for me), I read my meditation, prayed this morning on my knees for God to help me stay sober and tonite I am going to a meeting and then to bed. I'm trying to cut myself a little "slack" on getting my TO-DO list done. Rome wasn't built in a day, right? Thanks ADVIL!

I had some cravings yesterday too.. taking a shower usually helps me forget about them if HALT doesn't apply. It applied yesterday! I was hungry, angry and tired haha
I always feel a little stronger when I get through them unscathed. Makes me feel a little bit more prepared for the next time. I remember how rough they were that first week though, so I feel your pain! Just go one day at a time, or one minute if you have to!
How did the meeting go? Sounds like you had a good night before that. I can't ever imagine cooking being relaxing.. that's about as stressed out as I get! I'm only good at making things in the microwave haha I've been using the oven more lately though and I'm getting better. I always think the door is going to flip up when I'm putting something in/taking something out and burn off my arm
