Something a bit like that with maybe a bench where you can sit in the shade in the summer

Then google: fast growing climbing plants and see what you like (and is within your budget)
Beautiful! When can you come over and get started Carlotta?

Soberpotamus, we lived there for 2 years. LOVED it, but family illness necessitated our return.
If I weren't the most incompetent computer person on the planet, I would post a photo of the Jacks. . They lived on a farm and their parents were working dogs..no sitting around inside all day! Jacks are great little mousers, which comes in very handy if you have a barn.. Which they did.
They are both nearly totally deaf now, but otherwise they are motoring right along...

Saoutchik, does that extension exist? Where is that? It's cool.

Carlotta, nice arbor. I'd move in there in a second.

Trying to entertain my daughter for an hour while son is in band/drum. I'm wanting to strangle her at the moment. Pretty, peaceful courtyard except for daughter. Oh, and drums pounding in background

Just got home, picked son up from camp, went to look around a few stores, then took him to see Jurassic World - he loved it, did not find it scary at all! He was on the side of the dinosaurs and wanted them to eat everyone, thinking I should be worried!

Someone, not originally from the PNW, came by in late May and turned up the heat here in Washington and then promptly broke the thermostat.
I wish someone would fix the 'power point' thing and get the heat 'power point' turned down!!!
And then, after a long drive in way too much traffic, come home to find that my neighbor is using my parking space, as well as the rest of the community driveway, for her painting crew. Argh!!!!
If she had only asked, I would have been happy to offer, but the inconsideration and the annoyance and the heat have me growling.

Ok, ten deep breaths.......

Thank you for letting me rant.

Happy Thursday Sober Enders!!!!

LOL yeah, my son is pretty animal oriented! And I think he had a point with the dinosaurs

I hate when neighbors are inconsiderate. My neighbors in my old apartment were a nightmare - constantly fighting and arguing all times of the day and night. The police were always there, but the owners never evicted them. I am very happy in my condo now - all my neighbors are retired, so in all likelihood me and my son are the problem neighbors now!

Olive, it's supposed to get hotter this weekend, isn't it? I'm thinking of driving my air conditioned car up to the windy Deception Pass.

Carlotta...you gave me an idea. I'd love to have an arbor at the entrance to my house. I think I'll go to a nursery this weekend and see if anything would grow in this Southwest high desert. And quickly. I'm sure it wouldn't look like your photo...
Good day at work today and the week is almost over. Easy day tomorrow. Feeling good these days...

The voice was speaking loudly today. What it doesn't seem to understand is that there is no way I'm drinking.
So weird. I know it's me but it sure feels like some kind of evil being.
Anyway my close find is having a baby. So happy for him.

I Think the dinosaurs should eat Olive's neighbor and the painting crew. Problem solved.

Learningagain, I'm glad your son enjoyed the movie. My children are in bed. Yay! I'm going to relax and watch mindless television. Tomorrow I'm going to hang out with my mom and the kids. Maybe miniature golfing if the weather cooperates. Not hot today but misting. Odd weather we're having.

Hang in there everyone. Hope you have a peaceful evening at work Carlotta.

Sometimes I would love to have my own attack T-Rex. I'd have it attack random things just to see how much damage it could do.
